yearn.finance (YFI-BUSD)

The Yearn Finance project created 30,000 YFI tokens in an attempt to transfer control over the project away from the developers to its community of users. The YFI token is used to participate in the governance process of the project. Users who hold YFI are eligible to vote on YIPs (Yearn Improvement Plans) tokens that are staked for governance purposes and give their holders a percentage of the fees that are generated through various Yearn finance products. The token is a token used in the DeFi (decentralized finance) protocol.
