Cardano (ADA-USD)

Cardano is a cryptocurrency project that’s creating a platform for smart contracts and decentralized applications with a focus on advanced functionality and scalability. The native asset of the Cardano blockchain is called ADA, and it can also be used for simple value transfers. The maximum supply of ADA is set at 45 billion coins. The Cardano project raised $62.2 million in an initial coin offering (ICO) that was completed in January of 2017. The project has three main arms which serve different functions within the ecosystem – IOHK, Cardano Foundation and Emurgo.
